"Bubbling" tuning is a type of tuning where the muffler makes a banging sound like a firecracker or firework. Bubbling is achieved by releasing the accelerator pedal or stepping on it with your foot. Other terms include 'Pops & Bangs', 'popcorn', 'anti-lag' and 'misfiring'.

mbFAST Tuning creates bubbling data using its own original methods. By further arranging the bubbling data from generally available bubbling data, a stable bubbling sound and adjustment of the RPM and size of the bubbling can be achieved.

In mbFAST Tuning, if ECU tuning by other companies has been installed, the data is backed up and the bubbling is added to that data in a special way. In addition, if further ECU tuning is applied to a car equipped with a sub-computer, the risk of failure increases greatly, but if "bubbling only" is used, it does not involve any change in turbo boost pressure, and there has not been a single case of failure since we started offering this service.

How does the bubbling sound after installation?
It rewrites the data in the ECU, the brain of the engine. This changes the control so that explosions that originally occur inside the engine can be heard outside. There are two ways to make the sound.
1. the fuel is blown to detonate, even after the accelerator is released.
2. blow fuel and cause an explosion with just a foot on the accelerator.
Both two methods can be done after a firm ECU rewrite.
Does bubbling put a load on the vehicle?
This puts a strain on the catalyst, a component that breaks down the gases emitted from the engine. In the worst case, it can even shatter. In our company, when a genuine catalyst is installed, we carefully put in just enough data to prevent it from breaking down as much as possible. However, this does not necessarily mean that it will not break down, so please do not use continuous bubbling at high rpm.
Is it safe to enter the vehicle for inspection or dealer/factory service? Can the data be reset and deleted?
Exhaust emissions are usually measured as part of the vehicle inspection process,No sound level measurement.The same applies in dealer inspections. The same applies to dealer inspections.

Will fuel consumption be reduced?
Normal bubbling does not thicken the fuel at all, so it does not directly make it worse at all.
What are the other advantages and disadvantages?

Not burning fuel means that the fuel is relatively dense. It absorbs heat from the engine and is said to be engine-friendly
[Disadvantages of bubbling].
Denser fuel mixes with the engine oil. This makes the engine oil less concentrated and therefore less lubricating to the piston rings and increases frictional forces. This can damage the piston walls.
[Countermeasures].
In order to hear the bubbling, the rpm tends to be higher, even down the road. This makes it easier for the oil temperature to rise and, in addition, further reduces lubrication. Therefore, using a slightly harder engine oil may be preventive. Also, as the stock catalyst is easily damaged, it is recommended to change the front catalyst to a metal sport catalytic converter or a straight catalytic converter.
