Setting up the IXI Flasher

Using the IXI Flasher starts with downloading and installing the dedicated software and creating an account.

STEP.

Tuning the IXI Flasher

Start IXI and select 'Vehicle list'.

Select the manufacturer (Mercedes-Benz).

Select the grade (E-Class W212 -> M278DE46ALR), select "OBD" and press "Next" to continue.

Click on 'Connect To Vehicle'.

You will be prompted to turn the key on (all warning lights on and before engine start) and click 'OK'.

"GENERATE NEW" loading (automatic downloading of the factory data from the server) is completed, the necessary information for tuning and bubbling installation can be obtained.IDis issued automatically at random.

Once that is done, we can start creating the data.

Once you have been informed that the data preparation is complete, proceed as before to the "Connect To Vehicle" process. Next, select 'View ALL'.

The resulting file will appear in the list, click or double-click to download. When finished, select 'Write File'.

"Turn the ignition ON and then press OK".

Turn the key on (all warning lights display mode without starting the engine) and click "OK". The display will then start to write, please remain still.

When writing is finished, "-Write Maps Finished (Time: construction time)-" is displayed on the right screen. The key is turned off, the PC and IXI Flasher are removed from the car and a test run is carried out.

• The tool is not intended for real-time installation, but only for the transmission and reception of files by email to ensure that the time allocated by the customer does not overlap with the time we can work on the project.
