Setting up the IXI Flasher

Using the IXI Flasher starts with downloading and installing the dedicated software and creating an account.

To start with, watch the official Youtube video on the process of using IXI. (Subtitles in English, so you don't have to listen to them).

STEP.
Tuning the IXI Flasher

Start IXI and select 'Vehicle list'.

Select the manufacturer (Mercedes-Benz).

Select the grade (E-Class W212 -> M278DE46ALR), select "OBD" and press "Next" to continue.

Click on 'Connect To Vehicle'.

You will be prompted to turn the key on (all warning lights on and before engine start) and click 'OK'.

Once you have been informed that the data preparation is complete, proceed as before to the "Connect To Vehicle" process. Next, select 'View ALL'.

The resulting file will appear in the list, click or double-click to download. When finished, select 'Write File'.

"Turn the ignition ON and then press OK".

Turn the key on (all warning lights display mode without starting the engine) and click "OK". The display will then start to write, please remain still.

When writing is finished, "-Write Maps Finished (Time: construction time)-" is displayed on the right screen. The key is turned off, the PC and IXI Flasher are removed from the car and a test run is carried out.

  • Support and cancellations due to problems with the PC or not knowing how to use it are not accepted.
  • The tool is not intended for real-time installation, but only for the transmission and reception of files by email to ensure that the time allocated by the customer does not overlap with the time we can work on the project. For this reason, we do not accept any time reservations for installation. （Can an amateur do it easily? Can I create the data myself?" Can I do it on the same day at around 00:00?" ).
  • The IXI Flasher must read your vehicle data and email it to us within 14 days from the date of arrival. If the date is beyond that, a re-setting fee will be charged.
