Bubbling installation on Porsche 718 Boxster.
This time we have installed bubbling on a Porsche 718 Boxster.
This will also be installed without ECU tuning, just bubbling.
This owner contacted me in April and I came to his own home to try to install it, but I had to unlock the ECU. With the machine I had at the time, I had to pry open the ECU and read out the data directly, as shown in the picture below.
It is a very daunting task.
But I thought I could have done it, but I couldn't read it out at all because of a bad contact or something, so I gave up. Probably no one else in Japan does this kind of thing to do Porsche.
A few months passed from there, and I wanted to do that Porsche, so I looked at the page of the machine I had wanted for a long time, and I had a lot of trouble and ended up buying it! It's a good thing I had other cars I wanted to do, though,
There are two of them! One is a tool with a list price of 1.2 million (discounted to 900,000) and the other is 700,000.
Those are the two. Only the outer box is shown.
Surprisingly, the first one in a solid case is 700,000 and the second one in just a cardboard box is 1.2 million. The sense of the gaijin is really great! They don't rip you off for the cost of the box like the Japanese do, they focus on the contents and that's why they're so expensive...
I digress, but we have received this one and will contact the owner to challenge the installation.
I was going to do it anyway, I was going to do it with 1.2 million, but it was a tragedy. I got an error. It is useless. It's rubbish.
700,000 could be used. The picture below shows it.
In case you're wondering, the 1.2 million one worked fine on another car.
In any case, the construction was completed, which is good.
This owner had a Boxster with AmiTrix, to my surprise. The catalyst is therefore also robust, so we put in a stronger catalyst.
