Prior to the launch of the new Panamera, the fastest executive car record was this AMG GT at 7:30.109 (Autumn 2018), which AMG said was "the fastest time ever recorded by an executive car."Only a 0.3 second update.as "the best of the best", and it appears that they will try again.

My impression is that when the Nissan GT-R NISMO record was surpassed, the GT2 RS overwhelmed it by more than 20 seconds, but with this new Panamera, it was indeed only a 0.3 second improvement, and I feel that Porsche did not come on too strong for a bit. I think a more significant improvement could be expected.
