This time, we performed ECU tuning, TCU tuning, and burble tune installation on a Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG (late model / 9-speed AT).

① ECU Tuning
We remapped the ECU data optimized for the C43 AMG late model’s 3.0L twin-turbo engine. Power and torque linearity have been improved, and all parameters including throttle response and boost pressure have been optimized. Compared to stock, drivability is significantly enhanced, and the throttle feel is completely transformed.
② TCU Tuning (9-Speed AT)
The 9-speed AT (TCU) shift program was also remapped simultaneously. Shift-up and shift-down timing, lock-up control, and paddle shift response have all been optimized to work in sync with the ECU data. The AT now properly follows the improved engine output, resulting in a greatly enhanced overall driving feel.
③ Burble Tune (Our Original Setup)
This was the most carefully crafted part of the installation. Using our shop’s unique “RPM Request Method,” we set the burble activation timing with precision.
● Burble Activation RPM: Set from 2,000 rpm
Compared to typical burble setups, we configured the burble to activate from a relatively low RPM range. You can fully enjoy it in everyday driving.
● Minimizing Catalytic Converter Stress
Since burble tunes intentionally cause misfires, rough settings can cause significant damage to the catalytic converter. At our shop, we meticulously adjust the amount of unburned gas flow and activation timing to keep catalytic converter damage to a minimum. Durability-conscious tuning that lets you enjoy it long-term is our motto.
● Safe for Family Drives · Complete Control with “1cm Throttle”
What our customer appreciated most about this setup was this comment: “I love burble tunes, but having it pop and bang constantly when family is in the car is a bit much…” So we implemented the following intelligent burble control system:
🟡 [Throttle held at approximately 1cm]
→ Burble activates! When you want to “drive a little sportily,” just hold the throttle slightly and the burble starts.
🟢 [Press the throttle further]
→ Burble stops instantly, normal acceleration takes over. The same satisfying feel as completely normal acceleration.
🔵 [Release the throttle]
→ Burble stops immediately. “It has great contrast and feels amazing” — highly praised by our customers.
During family drives, as long as you don’t press the throttle more than 1cm, the burble won’t activate. In practice, it feels like switching between “Family Mode” and “Sport Mode” with just your throttle input.
■ Summary
The late model C43 AMG has more than enough potential from its V6 twin-turbo, and with ECU + TCU combo tuning, you can fully unleash that potential. Adding the burble tune on top creates a car where you can experience the full appeal of a sports car through sight, sound, and feel all at once.
