ECU & TCU Tuning, calibrated to your car.
Sound, power and control — engineered at the calibration level, tuned to each platform. From Stage 1 to Stage 4 to flame-throwing Dragon Afterfire.
Four things, tuned exactly how you want them.
We calibrate each element on its own — so you pay only for what you actually want.
Performance — Stage 1 to 4
Power and torque unlocked from the factory map through optimized boost, fueling, ignition and throttle. Gains depend on the platform and hardware — a stock car and a built car are tuned differently. Speed-limiter removal available for track and export use.
Afterfire / Pops & Bangs
Sound built into the data itself — overrun, crackle, bang and tone, with intensity and activation RPM set to your taste. Add flame-throwing DragonAfterfire for real, visible fire.
TCU / Gearbox
Transmission shift calibration to match the new power — faster, firmer shifts and revised shift points, kept smooth enough for daily driving.
Map Switching
Load several complete maps at once and switch between them from a factory button on the wheel — quiet daily one moment, full afterfire the next. See below.
Four maps. One button.
Instead of one fixed tune, we load up to four complete ECU maps and let you switch between them from a factory button on the steering wheel — no menus, no stopping. On our R35 GT-R build, for example, the four maps are:
Number and content of maps are set up per vehicle and to your preference.
Euro, JDM & exotic. Many platforms, one calibration philosophy.

Do I need a tuning shop near me?
No. We tune remotely worldwide: read your ECU at home with an owner tool such as AutoTuner One or IXI Flasher, we build and verify your file, and you flash it — usually within 24–72 hours. In-person work is available at our Tokyo HQ and authorized dealers.
What is ECU tuning?
Reprogramming your engine’s control unit — ignition timing, fuelling, boost and torque limits — to safely unlock the performance your hardware is capable of, while staying inside the mechanical safety margins.
What is TCU tuning, and do I need it too?
TCU tuning reprograms the transmission — shift maps, clutch pressure, torque limits and shift points. The factory TCU can cap the torque an ECU tune unlocks, so on many DCT/ZF gearboxes tuning both is what lets the car deliver every bit of the new power.
What do Stage 1 to Stage 4 mean?
Stage 1 is software-only on stock hardware; higher stages match the calibration to bolt-ons and upgraded hardware (exhaust, intake, fuelling, turbo). Gains depend entirely on the platform and its hardware — the 667 HP figure, for example, is our R35 GT-R at Stage 2 with supporting mods, not a number every car makes.
Can I switch between maps while driving?
Yes. We load several complete ECU maps and switch between them from a factory button on the wheel — quiet daily to full afterfire — no laptop, no stopping. See the Map Switching section above.
Is it safe, and is it reversible?
Every file is platform-specific and calibrated within OEM mechanical safety margins. It’s flashed over OBD with no visible change and can be fully restored to the factory calibration at any time.
Can I add pops & bangs to a naturally aspirated car?
Yes. Afterfire is engineered at the calibration level, so we create crackle, bangs and — with DragonAfterfire — visible flames on many NA and turbo platforms, tuned to your taste and set to reduce catalytic thermal stress.
Can I still daily-drive a tuned car?
Yes. We preserve cold-start behaviour, cruise fuel economy and the factory safety systems, so the car stays civil day to day.
Will tuning affect my warranty?
The tune itself is reversible, but any modification can be used by a dealer to question a claim, and rules vary by country. Tell us your situation and we’ll advise before you proceed.
I run a shop — can I offer mbFAST tuning?
Yes. Become an authorized partner and calibrate in-house with professional tools like AutoTuner and Kess3, backed by our calibration data and engineering support.
Tell us your car and your goal.
We’ll come back with what’s possible on your exact platform — sound, power, or the full package. Remote worldwide, or in person in Japan.
