Bubbling enforcement☆ BMW 4 Series F36 M440i done!

At mbFAST Tuning, we are always trying new construction methods. This time we would like to introduce an example of bubbling installation on a BMW 4 Series F36 M440i, which is a special installation that is rarely seen in Japan.

Direct ECU access.

Normally, ECU tuning is carried out via the OBD port, but for this BMW a different approach was adopted: the OBD is protected, but above all the writing speed: when writing from the OBD, this new type of ECU MG1 series takes up to one hour. In contrast, this ECU is directly mounted on the ECU. In contrast, the "Bench" method directly on the ECU takes only a few minutes. In addition, there is a high probability of recovery even if a fault occurs during the writing process.

Customisation in sports mode.

In particular, the Sport mode is utilised and adjusted to provide an exciting bubbling sound when driving. This installation significantly improves driving enjoyment.

Construction without telling the dealer.

This BMW was a used vehicle purchased from a dealer and had received maintenance, so the fact that it had been carried out was a secret to the dealer.

Owner's pleasure.

After the installation, the owner expressed great satisfaction with the finish, which exceeded his expectations. The pursuit of bubbling sound is not just a hobby, it is born out of a love for the car.
