Japan's first S65AMG TCU tuning

Thanks for your help.

This time we are challenging TCU tuning of our demo car and my car W221 S65AMG!

The W221 S65 has a 5-speed AT transmission, which is a poor transmission compared to today's cars, but the clutch connection is very smooth, which seems to make the ride more comfortable. However, ECU tuning increased the power and we found that the clutch connection could not keep up with the transmission programme made by Mercedes-Benz.

The TCU of the W221 S65 can be seen by rolling up the passenger footwell. Remove this and read the data.

This is where some of the adaptation data is stored. Other than that, it is the torque limiter. The tuning allows the clutch to connect sooner, reduces wear, and shifts at a lower RPM. If you've driven this transmission before, you know that the CVT-like feeling of the engine accelerating at the same RPM when you step on it is evidence of a half clutch, which is actually not good because the lock-up is slower. The TCU tuning will allow the lock-up clutch to be connected securely, so the acceleration is more in proportion to the RPMs. In all likelihood, it can withstand the power of the ECU tuning. It also makes PRND switching faster and easier to make sudden U-turns lol.

How would you like to try it? If you would like to try it, please contact us! Best regards.

We are also looking for shops to become our dealers. For more information, please see below!
